I want you to take a second to think about how bad it sucks to lose a player in your starting lineup due to an injury. Now I want you to think how bad it hurts when you lose a weekly matchup. But even if you didn’t lose that weekly matchup, you still lost the points for your season total. And with that I want you to think of how many times you or someone in your league was edged out of a playoff bye or even worse a playoff berth, over a matter of a point or two. Any of the above scenarios are enough to cause what my buddy Jake calls the “Fantasy Blues”.
Now imagine not having to deal with a big fat zero for the rest of a game after your RB gets carted off the field in the first quarter. Imagine not having to worry about starting Julio Jones when he’s a game time decision, because you can just sub in another receiver if he doesn’t play. Imagine a new innovative style of play that brings Fantasy Football to next level and allows you to manage your team.
Well imagine no more! YouRulz Fantasy Sports offers live in-game substitutions! So, if your bell cow does go down in the first quarter at least you can still get points out of that roster spot. Listen, whether it’s for an injury, bad weather or your guy is just sucking’ it up that day, put him on the bench and bring in some fresh legs.
Here’s how it works. When your commissioner is setting up the league, there will be an option to set the substitution timer to a specific amount of time>> For example if the commissioner sets the timer for three hours, once a set of substitutions is made, no more will be allowed until that three hours is up. Let me be clear, the timer is for the team as a whole.
Folks, I truly believe that this new format is going to be a game changer. It’s a truly exciting new way to play, and I can’t wait to play and watch new strategies and nuances that will come along with this, the inaugural season. I Hope you will check us out this 2017 season and enjoy the emotional rollercoaster that is Fantasy Football with myself and the rest of the YouRulz gang!
